Rural American Consumers A National Association
"The Association was originally organized on February 1, 1978, for the express purpose of:
- aiding and encouraging the common interest of members of rural cooperatives to raise the standards of home life in the rural community;
- to secure adequate laws for the protection and preservation of the rural community;
- to assist cooperative members by arranging through group purchasing for discounts and special rates for products, commodities, services, and benefits of all type and nature;
- and to provide information of special interest to cooperative members by means of articles, newspapers, magazines, and other periodicals."
Rural American Consumers A National Association is not affiliated, associated, or endorsed by any national electric association or any local Farmers, Electric, Telephone or other rural co-operative.
